Mary Ann Towne, DPT
Physical Therapist

Mary Ann Towne, DPT received her B.S. degree from the University of Florida, M.S. degree from Nova Southeastern University and D.P.T. degree from Rocky Mountain University. Dr. Towne is the former Director of Rehabilitation and Wellness Services at Cleveland Clinic Florida and has served as team physical therapist for the Florida Panthers and the Miami Fusion. Dr. Towne has an extensive background in orthopaedics, manual therapy and sports medicine. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Associated (APTA), Private Practice Section—Florida Chapter, Sports Physical Therapy Section—Florida Chapter, Orthopaedic Section—Florida Chapter, Aquatic Section—Florida Chapter and Florida Chapter of the APTA.

Dr. Towne has conducted multiple professional presentations, community and academic guest lectures and served as an adjunct professor in gross anatomy at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Towne has served on numerous professional boards and provided professional consulting for multiple organizations. In addition, Dr. Towne has authored numerous publications and provided commentary for a variety of newspapers, books and ESPN2Nite. Interests include spending time with her family, traveling, skiing, reading and ongoing intellectual pursuits in the field of physical therapy.
 


Craig Hill, MPT
Physical Therapist

Craig Hill, MPT received his B.S. degree in Education from The Ohio State University in 2004 and M.S. degree in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2007. Mr. Hill was the recipient of the 2007 student Research Award. Mr. Hill initially joined Towne Physical Therapy Centre as an exercise specialist and returned upon completion of his physical therapy education in 2007. Mr. Hill has gained clinical expertise in a variety of orthopaedic conditions and sports-related injuries with patients of all ages. He also enjoys working as a private trainer with select clientele. Mr. Hill strongly believes that anyone can achieve their personal health and fitness goals by identifying the problem, setting realistic goals and adhering to an individualized program.


Alexandra Lindholm, BS
Senior Exercise Specialist

Alexandra Lindholm received her B.S. degree in Human Science with an emphasis on physical therapy from Florida State University in 2001. Ms. Lindholm was awarded an Undergraduate Certificate of Aging Studies from the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy in the College of Social Sciences and participated in Parkinson’s research. Ms. Lindholm is a former member (1998-2000) of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Ms. Lindholm joined the staff of Towne Physical Therapy Centre in 2004 receiving the title of Senior Exercise Specialist in 2005. She enjoys educating patients regarding proper exercise technique in order to achieve their long term goals. Off hours will find Ms. Lindholm decorating her new home or traveling.


Nicholas DiLucente, BS
Exercise Specialist

Nicholas DiLucente received his B.S. degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Gerontology from Slippery Rock University in 2004. His studies focused on a variety of fitness assessments including body composition, blood pressure, muscular endurance and strength, flexibility and cardiovascular testing. Mr. DiLucente was a member of the Strength and Conditioning Association throughout college. He joined the staff of Towne Physical Therapy Centre in 2008 as an exercise specialist and continues to work with his personal clientele as a trainer. Mr. DiLucente has a passion in the fitness industry for body building, powerlifting and nutrition since he began working out in 1995. He believes anyone can accomplish their fitness and exercise goals by following a disciplined regimen with diligent effort.


Bianca de Azevedo, BS
Exercise Specialist, Certified Pilates Instructor

Bianca de Azevedo graduated in Brazil with a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Rede Metodista-IPA in 2004 and Physical Education from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in 2005. Ms. Azevedo spent her athletic youth participating in a number of team sports such as soccer and handball and decided to parlay her love of athleticism with her career goals. She worked in Brazil as a physical therapist and personal trainer and lived in England for several months studying English. She received her certification as a Mat and Equipment Pilates Teacher from The Pilates Physicalmind Institute—New York in 2006. She came on staff at Towne Physical Therapy Centre in 2008 where she continues to work as a pilates instructor and exercise specialist. Ms. Azevedo enjoys working with all age groups from adolescence to the elderly from sedentary to professional athletes. Ms. Azevedo also speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently.
